Crab wontons

Not quite knowing my way around Nassau as yet and still not having my own vehicle has put a slight cramp on eating out. On the bright side it's done wonders for my bank account. The other day I was feeling for sushi and crab salad and remembered some wonton wraps I had in the freezer.

So I made crab wontons.

 After defrosting the wrappers I brushed them with tap water.

I used crab salad made with cream cheese for the filling.

I don't have a wok or a deep fryer so I fried them two at a time in a small saucepan to get the oil deep enough.

        I figure I can try with chicken or pork next, for the hypo-allergic hubby. And because I like pork.
